Obituary of Cody Burke Saxton

On Thursday, June 8, 2023, Mr. Cody Saxton, formerly of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at his home in Sherwood Park, Alberta at the age of 37 years.

Cody is survived by his loving family; his mother, Judy Saxton of Wainwright; sisters, Carli (Frank) Lopez of Wainwright; Brianna (Ryan Hilgartner) Saxton of Calgary, Alberta; niece and nephews, Cruz Lopez, Miguel Lopez, Selena Lopez, Emilio Lopez, Benson Hilgartner, and Dane Hilgartner; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He is predeceased by his father, Arthur “Jack” Saxton in 2022; paternal grandparents, Alena & Alf Saxton; and maternal grandparents, Norma & Elgon Howes.

A funeral service for Cody will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, from the Royal Canadian Legion, Wainwright, Alberta at 1: 00 PM. Interment to follow in the Wainwright Cemetery
